New Cliff CD- "Dream Good"
Very excited to say that everything is going swimmingly with the record, I'm all set to have Brad Jones mix the week of May 7th-11th, I will join him in Nashville for the second half of the mix. It'll be mastered a week or two after at Yes Master in Nashville who often work in conjunction with Brad, then go off to duplication at Discmakers in NJ.
Also, I'm proud to announce that I have finally settled on a title that I really like. The record will be called "Dream Good", and not only is that the title of a last minute song I wrote which I plan to include, but it was also #20 on Woody Guthrie's list of New Years Resolutions from 1943.
I'm working on some CD release shows on the East Coast mid-June, I will settle on a final release date soon, and don't forget my Kickstarter campaign is still going for about another week! Click the link below to pre-order the CD.

Praise for "The Long Now"
"The Long Now is, in many ways, the perfect pop record: its songs are expertly constructed, melding wickedly clever lyrics with inescapable pop melodies. Hillis possesses the pluperfect pop voice—he can sing sweet and intimate, as on 'She Sees' or 'Ought to Know', or can reach back and belt out a rocker, as on 'Northern Lights', or 'Faded Star.' " -Rick Schadelbauer (Amplifier Magazine)
"Cliff Hillis should be a major star. There, I said it … and his latest release, The Long Now (Tallboy Records), proves it. It’s a stylish, thoughtful, consistently excellent collection of catchy pop tunes that never fails to engage. A few tunes written with the Rembrandts’ Danny Wilde (“She Sees” and “Northern Lights”) are top-shelf, but there’s really nothing here less than very good, as Hillis is a supremely talented craftsman whose way with a hook is undeniable throughout." -John Borack (Goldmine Magazine)
